St.-John's Hospital
The Memling Museum occupies part of the Old St.-John's Hospital (12th and 17th century), one of the oldest surviving mediaeval hospitals in Europe. The atmospheric and historic wards recall everyday life at the hospital by a wide variety of paintings, sculpture furniture and decorative art. The 17th-century pharmacy has been comletely preserved.

In the church and the adjacent Cornelius Chapel, six authentic masterpieces by Hans Memling are on display, namely: Triptych of the Adoration of the Magi , The Lamentation over Christ , the Altarpiece of St.-John the Baptist and St.-John the Evangelist , The St.-Ursula Shrine , the Portrait of a Woman, or the Sibyl Sambetha, Virgin and Child and Martin van Nieuwenhove, and Descent from the Cross according to Rogier Van der Weyden.

Closed on Wednesday.
(The wards are temporarily closed for restoration.)
All the museums are closed on the 1st of January, Ascension day (afternoon) and the 25th of December
